as for feedback I think it's still to early
modeling wise I myself would probably be thinking about the bolts if I should put them in the mesh or not, they are quite big, and especially with a non normal mapped model I would be afraid of them looking a bit dull.
This is an updated version of what i have done so far. i was having a little trouble with the darker metal on the blade, but I'm pretty happy with what I've come up with.
