Zbrush UI question

Hi, I'm just learning zbrush and I'm loving it, but sometimes the interface is difficult for me! Yesterday I noticed I can't find the polygroup menu on the right side. I tried to find it on the menus, but couldn't. I hope you can help me with this, and sorry if this is a very newbie question!

when you use the supplied primitives they are not considered polymesh objects so some of the options like polygroups dont show up in the tool panel. If you hit the "make poly mesh3d" button at the top the polygroups will show up.
