Strange results when using wrap mode in Zbrush

Hi! I just found the rocksculpting tutorial by Arif Pribadi(found here: http://arifcreations.com/blog/2012/01/21/tileable-rock-texture-in-zbrush/) and thought I'd try to follow it.
Sadly I didn't make it past the stage of trying to set up the plane to sculpt on, instead of it following it correctly i got this: OJzQkgw.png
where it seemed to wrap but on an insanely small level and repeated level.

My hunch so far is that something went wrong with the scaling when I tried to export it through GoZ into Zbrush, because i never really got it to do the actual scaling itself, rather than me drawing it out per usual. I got it to kinda do it on it's own, but I'm dubious about the results.

note: the brush used in the scene is at 1000 due to the scale, and I can sculpt normally, it only does that when I use the Wrap mode.
I also have a smaller plane appended as a subtool, per the tutorials instructions.
