Downloading the beta now! I'm curious about their rigs.

    Interesting! I might have to pick it up and check it out.

    I know a couple of animators who are super stoked about this program. Will have to play with it myself :)

    Hold on a sec - how does one actually run the "free beta" ? All I can find is links to the installer, and purchasing options for their 3 license types ...

    [edit] nevermind, got it. It required some convoluted steps in the account page.

    My name is Aurelien Charrier, CEO at nukeygara, the french company developing akeytsu, this brand new 3D software dedicated solely to character animation and rigging.

    akeytsu is really different from other standard CG packages.
    It is the perfect anim tool for videogame community: easy, fast and affordable... and with FBX in/out.
    nukeygara even offers an early access deal for customers who are willing to put their money down now. Indie license is available for $79, Pro license for $279 and Learn license is $49.

    This looks astounding, having the Curve editor right there in the viewport is genius.

    Questions: what are the camera options, if any? perspective, ortographic, fixed views, front, left, top, that type of stuff?

    At moment only one (full) view which is perspective.
    Of course, we plan to add multi-views and orthographic cams.

    Looks very interesting. I love the curve editor being right in the main viewport.

    Shame it's not on MacOS.

    played around with it a little bit, im experiencing weird lag spikes, especially when the camera is still, when im moving the camera my fps is like 70-80 but when its static im down to 40-50.

    I am just back home from SIGGRAPH. That was a great moment! Met a lot of people there, made demos non stop and it seems akeytsu is appreciated ;-)

    @lotet: we would be interested to know more about those lag spikes. Indeed it seems weird. Could you post your remark on our forum ? Thanks.

    Trying it out. Seems pretty cool :)

    I like the idea of the spinner, but I would love the capability of using keybinds for transforms to do free transform, similarly to what Blender has. I find it very useful for animating without having to do much clicking/selecting.
