Join our team to build and assemble real-time environments. As a motivated game maker you will own our environment pipeline, evangelize it to the team, and collaborate with other departments to build something special.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build clean and optimized models, assemble levels in a real-time editor, and simulate complex lighting.
Work closely with the art and design teams to ensure visual targets are met or exceeded.
Strong organizational and mentoring skills.
Actively participate in technical and aesthetic problem-solving discussions.
Accurately estimate turnaround times for tasks.
Evaluate new tech and communicate feedback to the tools team.
Review assets and levels produced by other artists and provide technical and aesthetic feedback.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Expert in Maya and Photoshop.
Excellent High and Low poly modeling skills.
Strong knowledge of lighting techniques. (Vertex and light map baking, Light Probes, Dynamic etc.)
Solid grasp of color theory.
Ability to rapidly master development tools and pipelines.
Ability to be resourceful and come up with creative solutions.
Must be comfortable in an open critique and collaboration environment.
Effective of communication visually and verbally between design, art and programming.
Strong organizational and mentoring skills.
Natural curiosity and a strong desire to grow as an artist.
Collaborative focus and an understanding of how to take feedback and use it to fuel new ideas.
