I'm having trouble at the moment finding what to work on next. I'm aiming for an environnement because i think it is the next step after all the props i have been doing.

I want to become a proper environnement/prop artist with the skil sets that come with it and later try and dabble in character art if i like it. I'm also trying to developpe some skills in concepting because it is something i have always wanted to do.

Here is some of my stuff that i have done so far: (!From latest to oldest!)

And here is some high poly stuff that i took a break from because i realized that you need at least some base human model for armor and i have no character skills:

I would like to try and do some more organic stuff because i have mainly done hard surface atm. I was thinking of doing the exterior of a scottish cottage in the highlands and then if i was motivated to follow up on with the interior.

The biggest problem i have is that because i am teaching myself and not going to art school, i don't know if my practicing is getting me anywhere. I did sign up to digital tutors for a few months and learn't a LOT from them and greatly improved what i now know but since my subscription has ended i feel like i'm stagnating.

What do you guys think i should try and challenge myself with/learn next based on the few models i have to show ?

I know this is a very broad and vague question but it does reflect my state of mind since i'm at a loss on what to do next.

PS: If i wasn't clear enough please say so because i often suck at asking questions
