you are right! I will definitely change this and post the results.
Here are a helmet and an eagle first
I hope now u can see better what is going on:)
but I will definitely work on this!
I think you went a bit overboard with the vines or whatever they are on the front of the tower. I think you should break it up a bit there.
Thank you!
You are right with that ivy-stuff... I will change it.
Really appreciate your thoughts!
I am playing around with the lighting... Any suggestions???:poly142:

Take it with a grain of salt. its looking really good though, I dig the atmosphere and cold feeling.

I think you can definitely take this a bit further lighting wise, at the moment it is super, super muddy.

Quick dirty fixup in PS:
It probably wouldn't hurt to break up some of the perfectly straight lines in your man-made stuff as well, the log walls could for example be offset a few cm to the side along the straight bits in order to make it look less perfect.
I think the primary thing your scene is lacking is contrast, or has it's contrast in the wrong places.
For instance if you take your scene and desaturate it, it the ground almost becomes a silhouette. Too hard to define forms beyond whats above you.
I think you need to bring out some of the textures more, like the rocks for instance could have a brighter color to separate it from the trees or be lit more. Or perhaps lighten up the ground below the foliage?
good luck
I will go over dat LUT thing by tomorrow:poly121:
Peace Out!
