Here are some updated screenshots, along with a highpoly render. I added a gradient, darkened the metal underneath the paint so there was more contrast. I also changed the paint chips at the bottom of the large cylinder, I thought it would help keep the look more consistent. Any feedback would be appreciated
I agree, there is too much chipped paint and the wear is too big. Maybe you can also add more dirt on the places where normally AO shadows are, for example the connection points of all the pipes.
@oxblood & Hupie: I agree, thanks for pointing this out. I am going to tone the chips down, and try adding some more dirt around the AO. I also think I will try making the paint look a little cleaner and even. Also make the edge highlights stand out more. I am trying to give it a bit of a stylized look.

I didn't like where I was going with the other texture so I started a new one. I am trying to find the right balance of detail to keep more of a stylized look. Any advice or critiques would be great.

All in all I think it is a really cool prop so far. I like the colors and the stylized touch as well ;-)
