Hey guys!
Quick question here, where can I found a ressource to learn more about all the different maps that exist in 3D ? I'm starting to learn texturing with normal maps, ambiant occlusion, specular etc... And I would like to know more about them, how they actually work, in which casses for exemple you use the ''A'' map instead of a ''B'' map. How to make them, how to bake them etc...
I see a lot of these images on the internet and I can't really tell which one are what and why they use them.
Any helps? Where should I start?
I've looked at the polycount wiki but I'm more a visual guy, I need images to understand well...
Thank you!

Not all of the existing maps, but it contains a lot.
