It's a functional suit of armour. I have 5 years of IRL armoursmithing skills under my belt, and was going to make this, when I ran out of time and money.
I was in the middle of working on the texture, when I realized this would be an absolute nightmare to animate... What do you guys think? Would this be possible to animate using collision boxes on all of the plates, using animation constraints/locators/etc, or using a heat map?
I know that the norm is to make it one entire solid mesh, but I want to make articulated armour that doesn't look like deforming rubber.
