3DS Max = Beginner on rendering

here I am (again) with a new problem
I am trying to render a nice mirror... (just to learn)
I get this as result and I don't understand why it just doesn't make a normal mirror...?

Also we need more info. Which version of Max? Which renderer? What settings are in the mirror material?
What research have you done so far? (help file, internet search, forum search, etc.)
