Tablet vs Artist

Hello everybody,
I read that the Surface Pro 3 is really nice for 2D/3D Graphics Artists, with some competences like the Yoga 3 and some others.. Now, I travel a lot and need something smart that allows me also to work with a nice touch pen...
Did anybody try or use or maybe have feedback and opinions about this two models? Would it run nice Adobe products and Autodesk?

I'm assuming the 3 might have a bit more speed, though it depends on the specs you chose, too.

So it would be better a Gamer Laptop or something similar than a tablet with i7 ?
