So its been a while since I've posted anything and figured I would share what me and everyone here at Treyarch have been working on since we wrapped up all the dlc on Black Ops 2.
So I'll be posting all the cool stuff going on with this game in this thread. Hope to play some mp, zombies and now co-op campaign with you guys this coming fall.

Check out our trailer for the bonus map "The Giant" that will come with Black Ops 3. I was lucky to do a bunch of work on this map and got to make one of the coolest and craziest models I've ever been asked to do.
Oh and this was made here at Treyarch with game assets in our engine.
Facilitates content and code sharing between projects
Without being too specific as a lot of stuff hasn't been shown yet but in general before Sledgehammer joined the mix the differences between the Infinity Ward games and the Treyarch games was in how they felt.
While it is the same franchise I can say having played them all that they do feel different in how weapons are tuned, maps are designed, etc.
All 3 studios have a different design mentality and while it may not be easy to pick up on from the outside if you don't play them all a lot of fans tend to have favorite studios due to what their versions of the games offer and how they play and feel.
As for what makes us different compared to AW? Again trying not to give anything away. I would say that how it feels, the story arch. I feel we here at Treyarch have always tried to go a bit crazier in the plots. Maybe not, but I think with what we are offering with Black Ops 3 is a huge step.

It is a ton of content in the end and like other franchises that take the same heat for so yearly releases I think people tend to look at it wrong.
Yes it comes out every year (so far to date) but from different studios and thus different story lines / archs.
As far as engine tech goes. There has been a lot of work done since the end of Black Ops 2 for our version of the engine. Some people may not realize it but the versions IW, Sledgehammer and Treyarch uses are all very different in terms of tools and tech goes at this point.

Anyway, this stuff looks stunning. Last CoD I played was either MW3 or BO1... I picked up Ghosts on PC and want to blast through that. Need to catch up! The last one looked terrific and I heard some great stuff about it.
