Hey guys, new project incoming!
So I'll be making a dragon! I'm surprised it's taken me this long to create a dragon model seeing how much I love em
And I need an excuse to learn up on creature anatomy. And I might try out Substance Painter for this guy.
The concept I'm working off is by Baldi Konijn:
And here's my progress so far:
Leave some feedback if you got any and enjoy

So, update time! I think I got everything to a good point to start detailing and adding secondary forms like the big scales. Though I already got into the smaller details on the head.
I'd love some feedback of how to go about adding scales to this guy if anyone has an guides for that sort of thing
Any suggestion for changes or any critiques before I finish him?
But what's at the end of his tail? :P
I wonder how many maps you'll use (like how I see a lot of characters are one map for the body and one for the arms/hands/face), considering how freaking large dragons are compared to everything else.
Xaragoth: The world may never know...:P
Stinkfoot: The larger scales are all by hand, the smaller ones are alphas
Deathstick: Yeah, still not exactly sure how to break him up, probably just separate the head and body....maybe the wings too.
Thanks everyone for the kind words and feedback! I really appreciate it! Now, onward and upward!
