I'm trying to figure out which would be the better option between the Xrite ColormMunki Display and Xrite i1Display Pro. Does anyone know which is the better choice? Thank you.
I just bought a colormunki display. From my bit of research, the i1display pro is better if you can afford it-- it's like 5x faster and has sealed optics which help prevent it from degrading over the years, "drift". In either case you'll want to use argyll + dispcalGUI rather than the included software, it seems fairly unanimous that it does a better job. I think the colormunki display may do multiple monitors as well, but the use of argyll makes it a moot point anyway.
You ought to be able to get windows color management to load multiple profiles without using the supplied software- That should let you handle multiple monitors with any tool that can make you a profile.
