Hello,
Basically I'm looking for feedback, specifically how good you all think my work is.
I want to eventually be a character artist however I'm becoming more and more aware of how difficult it is to get into the industry in this field.
I'm beginning to think it would be a wiser option to switch into environment art and put character art aside for now. At least until I'm at a point in my games art career I can make the switch and have a better chance in the industry.
Anyway, at the moment I'm interested in what you all have to say, do you think I have talent as a character artist? Where and how should I improve?

You'll get more eyes on your work in the correct sub forum.
[edit] Just to clarify, I see A symmetry in your character sculpt, but its mainly in the details, like skin pores and wrinkles. larger forms look completely symmetrical. In real life one eye often sits lower then the other, nose and mouth not completely centered. and so on. I think you would benefit from having an exact reference you are following and trying to get the likeness if you are not doing that already. Post up a thread of your wip and get crits as you go. Its gonna be really obvious if you are missing on a likeness sculpt and you can learn a lot from that. When you start nailing that, then you are probably at the level companies want to hire you.
Dustinbrown - I see what you mean. I guess in the end it can come off as lazy/unobservant. I do wonder what more I could do to achieve a naturalistic look on my main character though. However as BradMyers spotted I didn't have a specific reference. So maybe after doing a few likeness studies I can spot these small differences that make a character look more natural.
BradMyers - as I've just said I didn't have an exact referrence so well spotted and I do agree, some likeness studies are needed.
Thanks again guys.
