Okay, i'm very bad at uv mapping, even more with organic models.
So i made this weird creature thing, i've finished it, and i don't know how i can preapre the UVs for this :l

Is there any good tutorial for UV Map organic models/creatures?
Could you please give me some tips for this?
What tools should i use or wherever :s

This is the model i'm talking about, i want to sculpt it after making the UVs:

Each extremity would probably be a separate tube-like rectangle and the body I would just split across one side so it kind of unfolds looking like a butterfly...if that makes sense.

This tutorial helped me a lot when it comes to unwrapping creatures. Although you are using Maya it can show you where to position the seams, that is probably the most important thing of the entire process.

I can't place the seams for you right now but what I'd do is split legs/eyes/trunk and then make a big split at the bottom of the mesh, back of the legs (or front depends where it will be less visible) and bottom of trunk/eyes.

It isn't a really complicated mesh to UV to be honest and simply splitting the parts I mentioned before and hitting Automatic UVs in Maya should get it done pretty decently.
