Custom filters - how to make them

I found Painter to be much more limited than Designer due to lack of useful nodes like histogram scan. Is there any way to make them?

By using the "filter" preset in Designer, you can make your own filters for painter. For the histogram scan, I just exposed the Position, Contrast, and Invert.

thanks for the filter! what do you mean by "preset"? I'm still on SD4, is it SD5?

Presets do seem to be an SD5 feature, but you could recreate the graph anyway, I'm pretty sure.

It's an Input Grayscale node : Identifier - "input", Label - "Input", no usage.

and an Output node : Identifier - "output", Label - "Output", Group - "Material", no usage.

Add in whatever you want to do to a black or white mask, expose the parameters and you should be good to go.

Edit: Just realized you probably got all that from the sbs haha
