I feel like I still need some more pieces to flesh out my portfolio so I want to tackle an exterior scene. I'm focusing more on creating master materials and utilizing material instances. I have been looking at the SciFi Bunk in UE4's learning examples quite a bit.
I have a folder of references I will be working from:
Seoul Street Reference PicturesPictures of initial blockout
As of today I have one of the buildings in place with base materials.
Next step would be creating roughness masks and decals to get some wear on the building. There are also some objects on the building at the moment that require another pass on them. A lot of this building will be me poking and testing things, seeing what works, and setting up a good system to speed up workflow on the rest of the scene.
Oh, and if anyone has some good references, tips, or tutorials on wet material or windows that would be dandy.

Make sure you add a whole bunch of bowl haircut Korean people in suits getting plastered from soju. Sad, but it's a thing .
Snap, if you add this, you're gonna super nail the feel
