Hi guys! This is my first post on here and I thought I'd seek your advice on what I can do to improve my animations, starting with this simple walk cycle I've been working on.
Watch his right foot when the heel starts to lift, it kinda looks like his foot is stuck to floor and it pops off too harshly. I'd also make the toe flap more subtle, it's a little distracting.
I agree that toning down the foot overlap would help. Since the rest of the animation has subtle movements, my eye is drawn to the feet. If you wanted to keep the feet the way they are, maybe increase the rotation on the shoulders. All in all, it feels a little stiff to me, which can be okay if that is what your character is like.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'll update shortly with a vid of my progress, though it's been slow, but I really appreciate the help you've given so far!

Other than that it's looking pretty good!
Thanks again for the feedback, I took everyone's recommendations on board and made adjustments accordingly.
How's it looking now?
