You've duplicated the pipes as instances, so flipping the normals on when set also flipped the normals on the other set.

If you combine the pipes to one object and then flip the normals on the "wrong" pair, you'll be set. Or maybe if you delete history and then correct the normals.

Yeah, that is one way to it. Selecting the duplicated object and freezing the transforms of that objects also seems to work in that situation.
