Low Poly Hair thorough tutorials?

Hi all. I've been scouring youtube/google trying to find a good tut on the whole process on creating low poly hair for games. While i've found some decent ones, i've had trouble following through with a definitive method. The tutorials i suppose all start in a point where i'm having a hard time following, and none of it makes sense.

So ultimately do you all know any tuts (gumroad or other) that goes through the process of creating low poly hair?

That first one by Tom Parker is very similar to how I do low poly hair except that tend to just handpaint my strands.

You should look up sculpting tutorials. Specifically sculpting the planes of a shape. It's basically low poly modelling and it teaches you how to represent something with only a limited amount of flat faces.
