Hey everyone, I have just finished my 2 year game design course at college course and am heading to Staffordshire University to study games design in September. So i'm still a fresh faced beginner in games design :) While at college i created this map for my final project, I would like to continue to add to it, because playing the Witcher 3 all day is not improving my skills :) Any feedback and improvements would really help me, I would like to spend some more time on level design and the character, so any tips would be great. Thanks

The black areas of the character have not textured very well, I don't know how ive created the weird patches. So i will need to improve those.

This is the birds eye view of the map, The players spawn point is a bit unclear in this image tho, it is the small black point on the right of the map outside of the structure. Sorry if its too unclear.

Firstly, I think you need to chamfer the edges of the character armour Tom. It is more like an hard edge at the moment and it needs to change to be more organic.

The level is O.K, I would try add in some A.I using a NavMesh for them to move around the map. Also, sort out the shooting, as, when I looked at it last is was slightly off to the left.

This is an excellent attempt, however, and you will be ahead of everyone at Stafford.

Something for the summer. Work on Materials. It is quite an advanced topic really for UE4 and getting used to it will make a basic asset look very good!

    Keep in touch,

    Spencer
