Sci-Fi Boiler Room (WIP) - need some feedback

Hi Polycounters!
That's my first post, and i need some critique. I'm doing my first location (sci-fi boiler room) and i just finished my high-poly. Only doors were made from reference picture which i found in the internet, and rest of the room I created in my head. I will make some floor and wall details in ndo2, and whole scene will be rendered in UE4 (I have no experience with UE4). I would be very grateful for some feedback, critiques and advices :).

    Hello again, I wasn't here for a long time. So this is my level in UE4. I would be very grateful for some critiques and opinion.

    The floor panels come off as really flat to me, almost like you only use diffuse maps on them, some other parts could use a bit more detail, especially the door.

    Your lighting is very un-interesting and pretty much paint by numbers. Everything that has a glow, has the same amount and everything that can be on is on. I hate that.....Just do one control panel on your tanks, make that stand out and make it have a focal point. Use that to illuminate the area. The tanks themselves have interesting shapes, why not pronounce them more....underlight them and use the cool shadows they project as way to add interest. The orange pipes should be different colors or shades of the same color (pipes generally are color coded to differentiate the different materials being transferred by them.) Separate your walls and ceiling from your floors. The material and the color/values should be different. The main door is screaming for a makeover and looks unfinished and lacks detail and structure.

    (If I'm really honest, I'd scrap this. Save your materials and textures as a starting point and find subject matter that is more interesting, has a lighting/color pallet that you can shoot for. You winged it and the results speak for themselves.) Examples:
