As a
Game Core Engineer (m/f), you will apply all of the useful knowledge you’ve accumulated over several years of practical experience towards the development of our frameworks. You will ensure that our games’ common foundation is regularly improved and expanded.
Your job:
- Advance the development of the Goodgame core
- Develop new and existing abstract tools and libraries
- Develop and maintain process optimization workflows
- Support game teams
- Conduct workshops
- Work closely with the analysis and system administration departments
- Supervise junior developers and trainees where applicable
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience with large software projects, ideally in game development
- Very good skills in object-oriented programming and control of common design patterns
- Extensive knowledge of C/C++ or C#
- Desire to extend this knowledge to Unreal Engine, Unity3D, C++ cross-platform development, Swift + Objective-C (native language module, ANEs), Java (Android native module / ANEs), and ActionScript
- Experience with any of the following: IntelliJ / FDT / Xcode / VisualStudio
- Good working knowledge of GIT / SVN
- Experience with Maven
- Ability to look outside the box and solve problems
- Good sense of responsibility, commitment, and an open and friendly character
- Ability to work in an interactive team
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and you have a passion for games
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
