This is a "little" experiment I did using a mid-poly Ferrari 458 Italia steering wheel and dashboard and a high resolution texture (4096x4096px). I wanted to test the look of different materials and variants in Marmoset Toolbag for a real-time car interior simulator, which was going to be done using Unreal Engine.
Unfortunately after a while the project stalled, I hope I'll be able to finish it sooner or later. But these renders still look pretty nice!
It looks like the normal map on the leather is inverted. You probably chose the wrong slant (up vs down) when using NDO2
Hey, thanks for noticing that. I did some tests in nDo, the slant was set to down and I set it to up. Unfortunately the change is very subtle and depends a lot on the light. Sometimes one looks better than the other one.
