Is this based on an existing object or is it designed by you? Either way the model looks really good! (I'm asking because it bears a passing resemblance to an Orion Flare Gun.)

Hah, yes - it's look frightfully Sizes took mainly from orion flare gun, so it probabbly could be to use it.

I really like it! But is the text on the right side of the model mirrored and written "backwards"?

may I ask, what tools did you use for texturing?

I used dDo for the base, and photoshop (for photo mix, brushwork, etc.)
