My names is Jarkko Kouva, I am currently based in Oulu, Finland. Relocating is not a problem as I have lived many years abroad before.
I have been specializing in 3D environments but can work in other areas as well, from concepting to small polisihing touches within game engines.
I am currently available for full time, part time, or freelance work.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of high to low poly modeling and sculpting for game environments
- Exceptional texturing skills
- Experienced with industry standard softwares and game engines
- Excellent understanding of color, light, and composition
- Strong background in traditional art
- Excellent understanding of modular workflow within game asset creation and world building techniques
- Understanding of how 3D art can affect gameplay.
- Understanding of PBR workflow.
- Strong team player with proven track record.
- Ability to learn new software and tools in a quick, timely manner
