Some of the first iterations had that functionality, but I decided to simplify it because I couldn't think of a good reason to move the points' depth. Also if you took it to extremes the geometry would start to artifact. If someone came up with a compelling reason for it, I could bring it back and fix the geo artifacts without much trouble.
For the most part I'm currently focusing on improving performance and simplifying/improving the UI and UX. One thing I'm adding this week is the ability to have multiple points selected at once, and have a user defined falloff distance affect nearby points when translating your selection.
Here's a WIP of the UI cleanup/redesign:
I'm making it so the UI colors will be set by themes which can be generated and modified by users.
Hi, first of all nice job on the tool and art. I believe this question was asked before, however I could not spot the answer. Would this ever be available on the asset store. Thank you and good luck!

Thank you! Yes, the plan is to bring this to the asset store.
If it helps, I've been working on another tile set. Just have one wall, the concave corners, and the fill texture left. I'd also like to supplement it with props like stairs, arches, alcoves, and damage/rubble eventually.
I've mostly been making improvements to the backend - not a lot of new visual things to share. BUT I have been working on a new feature (which still has a couple bugs) that I don't mind sharing:
Been wanting "corner snapping" for a while now. Nice to see it coming along.
I just stumbled across this after I learned that Ferr2D is no longer being given much love. This project is really exciting. I have a few suggestions.
1- Checkout the Ferr2D forum on the asset store. I noticed there are a lot of people who are frustrated with the asset right now with the limited support and many of the issues that they're running into. It's good to learn from others mistakes
2- Consider adding the ability to create destructible terrain. I came across an article for Ferr2D on how to incorporate it into their asset... http://quantumyeti.com/blog/destructible-terrain-in-ferr2d (hoping the concept might be translatable)
You have a new customer when this becomes available on the asset store.
Hate to pester, but any updates on when this might be released? I'm working with ferr2d right now but what I'd really like is corners done the way your tool does them.
Hey SSawyer, any updates?? Do you need funding to create this? Go make one campaign on Kickstarter and Indiegogo!! We want to support you. We're sure a lot of people like us will fund you if you can make such a marvelous thing.

Yeah, something like that.
You can now add points at any orientation.

Should be back hitting it hard again soon though! Met with Makkon just last night to hash out some ideas.
Just wanted to post a quick status and a thank you for all your encouragement and support.

I think Unity has similar feature like yours.
Did Unity come and approach you to buy your codes?
That's nice.
