Yup! Doing it on a Saturday this time, due to popular demand by the out of town folks.

The other part is that I am having a baby in a couple of days, so I dunno if I will be able to spare the time. My buddy is always telling me I need to get out and network more, but I never do because ... crowds, but guess it's just one more skill I gotta improve. :P
Anyhoo, yeah, another part is I am just a big ol' lurkey-lurker, so I wasn't sure if this was strictly an 'inside' thing. I don't like being the odd man out, you know.
But, you all seem pretty chill, so if I can get away for a few hours I just might make it. When is the cut off date to let you know by?

And that's why there is beer there. To calm the nerves. A bunch of us are pretty good friends at this point, but there was once a time we didnt know each other. Met through the meetups and just always show up for them.
I'll be driving from out of town, hoping it won't be a pain to get there.

I did a bit of drive lately in the downtown core. It's not terrible. The train has definitely been more busy during the week. But I don't think the GO train runs on the weekend? It's just busses. But the games really depend on the day you`re coming. Which events are happening when. The other day, a huge section of a popular street was closed because of an event. But only for a couple hours. Then again, the games havent officially started just yet... They have have events going already.
Really, you shouldnt have that big of a problem. Where are you coming from? There is a parking garage across the street from the place, and it's super easy to get there from the gardiner (the highway running through town). So if anything, you`ll get a bit of stop and go traffic on the highway (which could happen anyways, without the games), then it's a 2 minute drive with 1 or 2 turns from there. So I wouldn't worry about it. I HATE driving downtown, but that garage is so easy to get to, if i have to drive down town, i ALWAYS park there.
I should mention, I plan on doing one at the end of August as well, on a Friday. Summer time. Gotta make the best of it.
From this point forward, I will start alternating the days. So this one is saturday, next one will be friday. One after that is saturday, then friday, etc etc.
I'm hitting up Whitby on Friday night so if all goes well I'll be there for Saturday and maybe able to drag a few GDev people with me for the night.

I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer, I had to go to work in a few hours. Maybe next meet up we can play board games (or some who I talked to had a 3DS. Definitely bring that!).
My only question is... when is the next one!?
