Hey guys,
So I was thinking of following a concept environment for me to start making something with out of practice and I thought to ask you guys what pretty environments have you seen in games that made you go "Whoa".
For me personally, it's got to be an all time fave the last of us' post-apocalyptic scenes (mmm priddy), god of war series and bloodborne's dark and eerie theme. I know there's lots more out there to be seen, but what else am I missing?

Journey - very atmospheric and minimalist. Haven't seen a game that did it better.
Monument Valley Expansion - love the unique style and how they managed to integrate the foreground gameplay with the background environments. Made me go "whoa" because it's minimalist, beautiful and perfectly supports the gameplay - a rare combination perfectly pulled off.
To a lesser extent, Guild Wars 2 (though debatably so). The designs are less to my taste, but no less ambitious.
