You can walk into any Apple Store or MediaMarkt and grab one there. I have been using this as a backup since my regular tablet was out for repair, and it served me perfectly well for a month or so. I just had to tack a smooth piece of plastic on top to make the surface more to my liking, but that's a personal preference of course.
And if you're going for a used model, anything labelled as "bamboo" small (no need for "pen and touch") would do. You could also find an older, high range Intuos 3 and 4 for cheap on ebay as well.

I was looking on to CTL480 for a lot of time, but was not sure about everything :=),thanks
Dude i found the rough surface on my bamboo destroyed my nibs soooo fast!
Triacetate sheet is the solution. I'm still using the same nib from 2010.
Also it prevents the surface of the tablet itself to be damaged, in my case it was really scratched badly in the middle, consuming the nib even more faster and making its usage difficult.
seems like I have to replace my intuos4. I have the largest model now, but I think I have to scale down to the Pro medium. Has anyone gone down in size before? Is it a really bad experience?
I turned off the touch feature in my Bamboo.
The 4 assignable buttons feel more comfortable. I assigned hotkeys for zoom in, zoom out, drag canvas and undo.
huion makes a very respectable tablet, I use this one h610.
I use that exact same one aswell, cost me 70 and I love it BUT there is one thing that's quite annoying to me
under windows 8.1 the tablet driver doesn't seem to like skype at all - whenever I'm in a skype call while working, the tablet sometimes behaves wierd regarding pressure sensitivity
Seems we all found decent solutions to prevent wear of our tablets, that is pretty awesome. I went the home depot route and it was a perfectly cheap solution for repairs that just made correcting the problems that much better, i just wanted to add the sheet I put on. I purchased two sheets just in-case it is only almost $3 bucks so not a big deal but here you go: http://www.homedepot.com/b/Building-Materials-Plastic-Sheets/Plaskolite/N-5yc1vZbrdgZ7xu
For me i found i glide across the surface now, awwwee man so good.
and the nibs are what every one say to get: universal trimmer line blue 1.65mm .065" 275ft + for wacom pen nips forever.
For those that have yet to benefit from the info. just sharing.
Edit:
i stuck mine to the tablet via the corners with crazy glue, it pops right out with the right nudge so it won't damage anything.

Whatever : nope, touch is not important, as it is actually pretty awfully implemented.

My only gripe with it is the lack of tilt, I'd rather use a wacom for freehand illustration. But for textures/sculpting it works great.

Secure? why is that?
as far as I know amazon is the same throughout Europe. only prices change but the warehouse is the sane.
I was not talking about Amazon specifically, but on general online stores.
Also, Amazon is lacking support for many EU countries and the Netherlands store sells only books.
