Polypainting in zBrush useable for lowpoly (next Gen texture)

Hey guys,

i want to know if its possible and useable to polypaint my highpoly model in zbrush to get the texture for the base color and bake it down on my unwarpped lowpoly. i want to have my object in a game scene like ue4 or ce3 and get all texture next gen ready.

it would be cool if this would be possible and if you know a tutorial or can tell me the correct workflow to get good results in the end.
