- critques and tips needed/wanted- My first 3D Hair Modeling project

Hey guys,
I’ve been working on a new hairstyle for a character, and I would love to get some opinions and pointers on how I could make it better.

This is the first time I've modeled hair.

The programs I used to make this are:

-Photoshop (Textures)
-3DS Max 2014 (Modeling)
-Skyrim Creation Kit / NifSkope

Statistics:
Polys(triangles): 3.442
Texture size: 1024x1024

Here are some Pictures

Thank you for any relpies in advanced.

Edit:
Sorry for being such a noob at posting in forums, I've updated the Image links.

I suggest using an image uploading service such as imageshack, to get feedback.

Hmm, I never made that hair style before, but I like the look of it. Not sure if it's optimized or not, though.

I would ad some hair to the actual heads texture to blend them together more, like the beard.
otherwise the "ingame" shot looks pretty good.

but yeah, please link images directly :)

Thank you, but I'm not sure what you mean by it being optimized?
could you elaborate a little bit more on that? I'm thankfull for any advice you could give me in that direction.

I'm not quite sure how I can achieve what you are suggesting in the Skyrim CK. It's also my first Time working with ist as well.
If you know anything on that topic please share, I'd love to know.
I tried my own workaround though. You can see it if you look closely in the first picture.

I took part of the heads mesh and copied it into the hair mesh. Combined with texture and alphachannels I tried to create a layer of hair that would block the view through the hair mesh onto the bare skin of the head. Sadly my workaround didnt work out quite how i hoped.
If you have any ideas i could try out instead I'd also like to hear those.
