Deacon Frost (Infinity Style)

Hello,
our project in school was to create an figure of an movie called Blade.
The task was to create the character into Disney Infinity style. (Lowpoly)
This is my first character I ever made.
I would appreciate your feedback about my work.

you should really read more about topology, your mesh has lots of issues
like ngons and weird smoothing groups and the topology is not suitable for either animation nor posing the character well
the textures are also veryvery basic :)

i assumee you box modeled it in maya/3dsmax or something comparable? because the overall forms and shapes come in quite nicely... just some things bother me like the super square fingers... did you have a polycount limit?

Why are his feet so high poly? There are more polygons there than in his head/face.

First of all, thanks for your feedback!
I modeled it in Maya and we had a polycountlimit of 10.000 tris.
Our teacher said that Disney Infinity has just 4 faces fingers, so I thought it would be okay.
Now, when I look at my work, with those hands I think they're a bit too big. I used this reference:

I wanted it plain, so I smoothed it.
I asked my teacher if it will be okay and he said yes..

i think you can just get the same level of mmoothness on the boots by arranging the topology good enough with at least half the polys and proper set smoothing groups....
