I've been trying to get a feel for the landscape I've been creating for my senior project and here are some of the results:
I've been messing around in a workflow that uses World Machine and Mudbox lately and I found a new way to include erosion in the displacement map of the overall terrain, but if done wrong can produce some really deep carves in the earth of the landscape. But done right and you get this:
I've also been experimenting with a new macro, which is what makes up the overlay texture. It generates a pseudo-cloud covering that I haven't mastered yet:
Anyway, I'm moving on, I'll probably add to this! Let me know if I'm missing something or if I'm doing it right!
