WIP Arconian Ship (new to forums)

This was a two week project for a game called Arconia. Its a modular ship design that the player will slowly upgrade. Its being developed in Unreal 4 engine, it looks just alright in Sketchfab, there is alot I can do with detail textures in Unreal 4. Plus emissive channel in Sketchfab is crap.

It will be viewed most of the time very far away as its a top down camera view. But when pulling into spaceports etc... it will have cinematic exposure as well as full 3d. I have been modeling for roughly 4 years, and am self taught. This is a good thing and a bad thing, good being I didn't spend thousands to go to school, bad because I may have taught myself some very bad habits, and do things the long way alot of the time. It was textured with Substance painter.

I have been encouraged to get regular feedback from Artists, so i'm going to be posting here as I crank things out to see if I can progress my Art style, and get feedback from some pros. You can be as harsh as you want, honestly thats what drives me to do better.

You can find my full Portfolio on sketchfab with the link at the top as well.

You might wanna post an image (or three) to go with this. This shows up as nothing in my RSS reader and I'm sure there are people who will never clickthrough. The multi-ship sketchfab is also kind awkward to use. Maybe just some marmoset shots or something that shows off the emissive you mentioned? Wires?

I'm not seeing this against it's intended in-game background and visual context, but the masses, values, and textures blend together a bit too much IMO.

thanks for the feedback,I will post some screens once we get it into the game. its really not as dark as it shows up in sketchfab. I don't have marmoset, but in the future I'll go with screen shots I guess. I thought sketchfab would be a easier way to show the model. It is easier if you use the arrows to switch between camera views though, I did set cameras up for each section.
