YES! Saw this earlier. Absolutely gorgeous. Make sure to watch that video in 1080/60fps.
This is one of those series I've never played, but have always wanted to. Seeing this gameplay preview, I am 100% sure I will be buying it and playing the series for the first time.
Looks far too easy. Seemed like a ton of pausing and switching during the end as well. I don't play games where you can pause the game and choose between 10 million things. Live pauses only.

It'll likely get harder towards the end of the game
The other ones get nice spikes in difficulty as you progress. Im the dope that gets attached to 1 weapon so I have an even harder time.

I mean... this isn't Dark Souls, it's a game that should be relatively accessible for kids. And I mean that in a good way.. I played the original R&C as a kid and loved it, and I think that sort of gameplay still holds up too as an adult. Not everything has to be a crazy challenge.
Anyway, this looks great. So does the movie. Seems like a really interesting thing to do with the game and the movie, hope they're crazy successful.

Ratchet and Clank is for a pre-teen audience and it's always had a relaxed pace. I've played through all of them. They are really well-made and well-designed games and definitely worth playing if you want to see a game where everything works together.
It's super exciting to see Captain Qwark in game and animated; I worked on the low-poly and textures for him late last year and had a fantastic time contracting with Insomniac. I also worked on the space ship that they crash later in the trailer, and the very blurry character in the background of the preview image, among other things.
I can't wait to show some of the other characters I worked on once this sucker's released. It's absolutely one of my favorite projects I've worked on, and I was only doing it as a freelance artist!
I am happy this game exists because even though I have yet to play a game in this series I keep meaning to. I was planning on getting one of the PS3 ones but I never got around to buying a PS3. One of the few Sony IPs I am interested in. Especially since most of them are so boring.
Absolutely beautiful. Really like this kind of art style and it's a amazing to see how it develops when new tech comes out. Will have to pick up a PS4 now
Looks like your using the Sunset Overdrive Engine! Seems like all the lessons learned there are being translated to this game. Its very pretty and have no reservation it wont look this pretty in final delivery. Well done!!
I have never played one of them ( didn't have a ps2 ) but I am buying this on day one. Hypothetically, even if the game doesn't review well it's gorgeous and worth buying for that alone.

He he There is an option to disable pause during weapon selection, well, it has always been like this.
I've been playing this series for over 10 years now.
Ain't nothing like seeing how the visual of your childhood game develop over time.
Super excited for this one. I remember playing part 1 years ago and thinking I'd love to make one of those games someday. I actually did work on the PSP versions.
This one though. WOW! Looks awesome. Congrats Insom people. So glad this is getting the attention and love it deserves. My only issue is I wish it was coming out in sooner.

I'm going to vomit my brains out due to that motion blur but i'll have a fun time doing it
Love R&C. The games always stay consistently fun

Whats a live pause?

A live pause is when you open an inventory window and the world continues to go on around you as opposed to all the enemies freezing.
I've never played it, only Demon's Souls.

Insomniac doing it's thang.:-)
The game looks awesome btw. Loved Ratchet and Clank games on PS2 and I'm really looking forward to this one.
The more I see game like these, the more I aknowledge the gap between the new gen and the past one...
