3D Character in ZBrush (First Attempt)

Hello everyone,
This is my first attempt at a Character in ZBrush and i was hoping to get some critique and also some help. I would like to try and move this between ZBrush and 3ds Max but i can't make the low poly mesh from ZBrush look right in Max, currently i am using ZRemesher to lower the poly count and I think that might be a mistake.

But all else regarded i have attatched four pictures of my model and was hoping i could get a bit of critique, I might be thinking about texturing it inside ZBrush soon.

A little about the model itself. I didnt have any first hand inspiration to make this from as it was more of a test of my skills and my exam project for first year, but that is a different matter. I don't really know what style I was hoping to hit but i guess somewhere along the line the armguards and gloves led me over in some half post-apocalyptic theme.

Most of the modeling is done by eye and what i thought worked but i am constantly making tweaks here and there.

Regards and many thanks,
BundleJumper

Well, looks like a basic block-out that still need a lot of detail. The proportions look decent. The legs are perhaps a little long and the fingers need some work. Look at reference of both human anatomy and clothing to get an idea where and how you can add detail. It's about exploring the shapes to make it all come alive.

If it's ZB your focussed on learning, just do that and know that there are a hundred techniques for moving between Max and ZBrush, Most of which need no fore planning, or particular methods of working.

You've made a great start but just so you know, working without any reference is the most difficult thing you can do, You'll fall into a loop of tweaking til this looks right moving somewhere else, tweaking that then the first bit looks out of proportion...
A never ending loop using only techniques you already know so you learn nothing in an infinite amount of time.
