So I've been making a rough/scratched metal PBR material in Toolbag 2 to learn both the Spec and Metalness workflows.
I'm getting good results with the Spec workflow using a black Albedo with a coloured Spec map to define the reflectivity. However, when I try the Metalness workflow and use both a white Metalness map and a coloured Albedo map my material appears a lot darker than it should.
Can someone tell me where I'm going wrong? Pretty sure I'm using my Albedo incorrectly in the Metalness workflow but I'm just not sure how!

Its possible you have your albedo set to gamma space (sRGB on) for one material and linear (sRGB off) for the other, check the texture options.
I've attached screenshots of both of my renders with sRGB turned on. The darker render is the one using a coloured albedo map and an all white metalness map. In the spec workflow I have used a black albedo.
