Hello!
Along the way within personal modelling adventures I have come to love the "Create Shape From Selection" Tool within 3DS Max. It is very handy to create spline shapes and convert them to editable poly versions.
However one annoying feature within the program is that it creates 1 or 2 edge loops on one particular side of the object after converting the spline shape (Rectangular or Cylinder) to an editable poly. I find myself being forced to delete these edge loops before continuing further, otherwise it creates problems when beveling/extruding, etc.
Does anyone here know if there is an option within 3DS Max to have these edge loops never appear to begin with? A very simple problem however it seems to take up a lot of time in the long run when having to fix geometry for so many shapes.
