[PLC] The Final Stand - Unity - Multiple Positions!

Hey polycounters,

We're an indie game development company working on "The Final Stand," a multiplayer survival game inspired from multiple survival game mods like 'Day Z', 'Rust', and 'Battle Royale.' We've been working on the game for almost two years and we're going to release in the summer this year on Steam alongside Alienware. The payment is post launch compensation, you'll be paid after the game goes on Steam which is this summer.

We're looking for the below job positions to be filled:

Environmental Artist
  • Have experience with the Unity level-design pipeline
  • Have experience with modular level design, but also know when certain elements require a hand-crafted touch since most of the environments are nature maps anyways.
  • Be an excellent communicator, being able to work alongside our lead level designer in models, object placement, and atmosphere of the game.
  • Solid understanding of PBR technology and ability to make high-quality textures (AO, gloss, normal, specular, emissive, albedo).
  • Able to work with map packs and custom assets to implement realistic nature maps.
  • You have a great imagination to bringing natural environments to life.

Animator
  • Able to work with existing rigs made in Maya
  • Experience with 3rd person animations that match 1st person animations
  • Have a solid animation background with extensive experience rigging and animating characters.
  • Experience in transferring .fbx's or animations to be used in a game engine (we can provide a little refresher, if needed).

Concept Artist
  • You have a deep seeping passion for survival games and nature inspired traps, weapons, and craftable objects that influence the game design
  • Be an excellent artist, being able to work in a number of styles to come up with an appropriate concept and experienced in rendering your concept properly.
  • Be a good communicator that really wants to change the design of the game and influence the art direction
  • Be an efficient member of team who takes the initiative and can manage their time effectively.

3D Modeler
  • Solid hard surface modeling skills and able to work with an existing workflow
  • Solid texturing skills
  • Solid understanding of PBR technology and ability to make high-quality textures (AO, gloss, normal, specular, emissive, albedo).
