3dsmax morpher cant turn on use limits.

3dsmax 2015 sp2
win 8.1
I know some of you use the max morpher a lot. I cant turn on Use Limits under channel settings. I never had this problem and I want to use blink for eyes wide as well and its generally usefull for variations. Google reveals nothing. Any help appreciated.
