I've been working on the textures of a low poly scene. Everything's been working fine but out of no where my texture files stop updating automatically. I go into my preferences, and the check box is unchecked and grayed out.
Any idea what happened?
I'm using Maya 2015. The scene is pretty simple (4500 polys), no lighting, with everything mapped and textured with psds with only the uv snapshots in them (I haven't started painting the actual textures yet). I don't plan on keeping my textures as psds, this is just for while I'm painting the textures.
Any help would be appreciated. I can still reload the files manually, but that'll really slow me down.

I was able to restore this feature by deleting/renaming the Maya 2015 folder in my docs where the preferences and scripts are stored. The folder will be recreated the next time Maya is launched. The option was once again available once I did this. Then I reinstalled my plugins now all is working again.
I hope this works for you, too!
