Thank you guys! @Bedrock Well it depends what your specs are. At this moment it would be tough on maxed settings as I didn't optimized it too much. I am trying to reach 60 FPS at this moment but when I come to the stage of deep optimization I will check possibilites!
Trailer is coming on Saturday (tomorrow) or on Monday!
Just quick picture to celebrate that
Looks impressive! Real cool staff at all!
So I don't understand what would you realy want, but in my calibrated monitor its looks to dark and oversaturated, bun on other simple cheep monitor its looks ok!
ps no matter what it looks amazing
Looks really good! The footsteps sound really realistic, but perhaps a little too loud.
And for some strictly subjective slightly off topic opinions (aka not the graphics) on my part.. I thought the whole talking/voice acting was really goofy, which CAN work but the environments and the music gave me a Skyrim/Dear Esther/Ethan Carter vibes and the talking just felt distracting and annoying. Random WOAH WHAT'S THAT and I DON'T KNOW WHERE I AM just sounds like someone experiencing a bad acid trip without really adding anything to the game.
Honestly though I haven't seen exploration games with this kind of dialogue before so it could very well work and I'm just not used to it. Although after watching Firewatch I feel like the bar has been set quite high in this area.
And that thing at two minutes... I was speechless and not sure if in a good way :poly122:
Hello Bedrock! Thank you for writing this much and giving review.
The voices gave something that missed whole trailer. Also, it's trailer and I have plans to make big game, so the guy will not be speaking whole time. Only at some moments when it gets more interesting or when you reach certain phase of the level/story. I will be doing more investigation on that segment of the game, even though I didn't thinked about it too much so far.
Let's say you was speechless in good way
Thank you again.
Well I don't really mind which direction you take it as long as it's well done! Too many times I see games put all their effort into one area and then ruin the whole thing with bad UI or sounds etc.. so get as much feedback on the dialogue as you can before calling it done!
Looking great. Visually I have absolutely no crits.
But I agree with Bedrock, the voice acting could use a little shape up. At some points the female voice was also incomprehensible due to environment sounds.
Also I couldn't stand the fact that he didn't or couldn't run ("Hey wait for me"...keeps walking)
Who sent them? HINT: Slavic mythology! Just like hint says, the game story will be focused on Slavic mythology. This is great opportunity because stories and myths related to Slavic mythology are not told world-wide.
@Mathew O: Many thanks for the nice comment, it feels great to get it from someone with a lot of experience. Male voice will be changed a bit in the next trailer, footsteps will be less loud aswell.
Quick update: New trailer is coming out next month, it will focus on more gameplay and story. Also, the site is in the process of creation.
Hello guys, thank you for your comments and opinions about the work. It's always great and motivational to get them.
I will speak about the size of the map a little bit later. It's gonna be multi-region open world game.
WIP! New and models made just for the game are started to get into the levels. Still a lot of stuff to finish.
Interview for 80 Level site. In this interview I talked about the game production and use of modern techonology, and few other things you may find interesting.
First thing that came to mind was an Art Director that always pointed out even the slightest areas in environments or assets that were blown out. It was a detail that helped define the style for the game we were working on. Anyway, it really conveys a bright afternoon which I often think about how one might accomplish it when looking at bright clouds. Sometimes the real world gets blown out like that. It'd be interesting to explore these environments lit in this way. I wonder if it'd strain the eyes over time like you'd expect or not. Maybe it'd be more engaging. /brain spill
@killnpc I am working on the project few hours a day and it didn't strained my eyes Anyways, thank you for the comment and interests, you will have chance to explore the world!
Also, I just created IndieDB and Steam concept pages, so take a look if you guys are interested.
@FreneticPonies Thank you mate. Making it compatible with VR is not the priority and this stage of development, but we're definetely thinking about it.
New trailer, or showcase of the game is almost finished. You can expect it in the upcoming month. I can guarantee it is going to be really good and show a lot of elements of the game.
Also, here is new screen from the game. Handmade caves, and there will be a lot of them in the game!
Trailer is on my side finished, we are now working on the music/sounds and voice overs. I expect the video will be live at end of this month or at the beginning of next one!
Hello everyone! Here is new screen from the game. I am working on the forest now, so the game will have a lot of diffrent areas to discover and explore!
Talking about the new steps in the game development, there is no time for the break. We are already looking and planning next big steps for the game. Level is getting even bigger and here is little picture showing that off!
Sorry for lack of updates! I am coming with the new picture and announcement that we are releasing new video related to the environment of the Fantasiam.
@EpicBeardMan Hello there! Thank you for the kind words. We are trying to expose more the theme of Slavic mythology as it not used too much in any kind of entertainment media. Finally the people and community from the Bosnia and whole Southeastern Europe started to react, we really believe we are on the right track to make something that is recognizable.
New interior place, everything will be handmade as the whole world is.

But great job
I didn't posted anything new from the trailer but the world is increasing every day.
Here is one quick screenshot!
Edit : I actually really liked the male voice acting, I agree the woman was hard to hear sometimes and that the footsteps were too loud though.

New picture is here aswell:
This is insane !
Refreshing to see something truly colorful and saturated like this
I'm really wondering, how big is your map?!

I have seen this some time ago and thought it was looking really good. Love the artstyle and the choice of Slavic Mythology.
And it's awesome that a game like this is being made by a mostly Bosnian team. You have my support
Cheers!
