So i'm in the process of teaching myself Maya, and i'm at a point where UVs are becoming more of a thing, since i want to texture and what not, and to me UVs are a bit complicated to learn, though i'm not sure if that's due to Maya since i've heard it's UV unwrap and what not is horrible. So i'm just wondering if there is a place that talks about unwrapping and what not. Thanks.

The Maya docs provide a good help on dealing with UVs, and there are plenty of free explanations for beginners on the web today.
That site has a lot of sales, so if you can't swing the fundage now, just check back once in a while. I picked it up in a humble bundle set up for like 15 bucks along with 3 other classes.
There's also a youtuber which I think explains things very simply. It's for Maya 2013, but I think it should cross over well.
