Been working on this high poly for a little bit. I am getting ready to create the low-poly and will add some minor details in the normals using substance designer. I would love to get your thoughts/opinions.

The shotgun looks really cool. Are you gonna bake your gun in an exploded scene? i guess so for the inner parts but im not shure, just started out yet

Thanks Staubkopf. Yes, I will be baking in an exploded seen. I do not see a reason not to considering all the moving parts.

I would say that the reciever (mostly the ejectionport) is too soft.
