The main female character that you can see running though the forest is an iClone G5 Base model..all I did was create the face. Most of the time when creating faces for the models you can hide the texture mess with hair, however I wanted the character close to bald so decided to fix her scalp with Gimp tools.
Because the character is involved in an explosion as you can see in the above pictures, I decided while I was in doing some Gimp work I would add some scars and dirt on the face...just for added realism.
Without doubt one of the most fascinating horror science fiction movies of all time has to be ALIEN, actually I personally think "Alien" is a little weak for a title but hey the movies were great and a game franchise that never really reached to the top as it should of.
I imported both Alien and the Predator models using 3D Exchange Pro. Both models have some extra bones, the pincher's on the Predator and the very long tail on Alien.
I created a bump (normal) map in MindTex and turned it way up in iClone added spec and Gloss to get that Alien metal wet look.
The Predator model is of such high quality little to nothing had to be done to improve the model. The below picture shows me animating the pincher's using iClone's Face Puppet.
Here are some new updates. The fight sequence between the Allien and Predator are all created using the "direct puppet" tool within iClone.
As you can see above I have added some atmosphere to the video by adding fog, smoke and fire...and a little rain. 3D art is great but sometimes it can be to clear, clean so adding a little muck to the scene can help to create a more realistic effect.
That wet look is truly amazing... looks genuinely gooey and slimey... did you achieve all that with the reflection and specular channels, or is there some kind of glow/tracked light going on with it too?

Hi
The wet look was created as metioned, however I used several lights in the scene one of them being the sky tool which is built into iClone6 and a point light and that is all on the lights.
So I was thinking, I needed a twist at the end....a little surprise....I was going to add one of the characters from the movies but then I thought as I am a great fan of the art of the late H. R. Giger, I thought I would make this below, I call her the Queen. She was made in iClone, from a G5 female character. I have the monster workshop so used parts from that on her head, gave her a tail and a nice pair of wings...these parts are puppet enabled which will create the atmosphere I am looking for. Did some texture work in Gimp for her skin added spec and gloss and here she is....looking evil but hot.

Will provide a rundown on how the above was achieved in iClone 6 ...later
Thanks for that
...and coming from you ...that's an honour ...I enjoy your videos a lot and learned so much watching your vid's

This is how it will look in the video.
More coming soon!
