Decided to push this a little further and have the spiders coming out of her face. Played around with the crown a bit.... I suffer from pretty intense arachnophobia...so this is pretty much a nightmare to work on.

Impressive! Also, that's an interesting approach on facing arachnophobia.

Do you plan on keeping her hood like that or will you bring it closer to the head?
I wonder how you did the eyes. Are there separate models for sclera/eyeball and cornea + curuncula together? Because the liquid at the lower eyelids is looking really good!

@ DerRazputin : Thanks. the hood at this stage is kind of going to be suspended above her head by spider leg things..... I think. the eyes are just sculpted spheres.... Grassetti style.....https://grassetti.wordpress.com/2015/01/18/portrait/#jp-carousel-4791

Looks really cool, if its going to be a portrait, I'd suggest casting some shadow over the part with the holes to make it more like some creepy thing that you notice after watching a while. Now it's a but more in your face (no pun intended) than I would personally make it.
