Hi this is my first post around here as a long time lurker

so here it goes:

everything was modeled in Catia V5 and rendered in Modo.
This is still WIP and i´m planning to add a Holographic sight and Iron sights.

Yes, that´s what i did to render it in Modo.

At work we´re using "our own" Software, RTT Deltagen, for this conversion, but there are multiple other options out there to do this (e.g. through Rhino)

its some proper CAD software, i use it in my current engineering course. really really powerful stuff if you use it right.

this is the first time ive seen it used for something that isnt mechanical parts, got to say its worked really well.

That's some serious skills in Catia! I'd probably grow old before I'd model something like this.

thanks. for me this is a very mechanical object. And Catia if used properly is a very efficient tool for something like that.
